TZS imaging solutions came to life from a concept that was basically discussed over dinner. Dr. Tauseef Tahir and Dr. Sandeep Chander were growing tired of not being able to picture patients from the exam room. There were too many missed opporutnities to clinically document the patient anterior segment findings due to back up in the pre-testing rooms, or occupied staff and technicians with other waiting patients.

What if we can take an picture in the exam room right from our own slit lamp, and have a software program that would help us with coding…wouldn’t it be better if we can have our pictures stored on a web based program so that we don’t have to worry about huge picture files taking up memory and automatic secured back up? Dr. Zaigham Tahir, a practicing pediatrician, and an avid medial software developer, was our answer.

The company TZS came to life shortly after protypes were used in several offices in Chicago.

Along with running a busy optometric practice, his experties include computer aided design and manufacturing. Ever creative and constantly thinking of better ways of caring for his patients. Tauseef put the TZS imaging system through rigorous testing and uses is daily as part of his practice.

Clinical director of Primary Eye Care and Laser Associates, serves as our marketing and operations development. Constantly looking for more efficiency in the eye care practice, Sandip helps with making your office more efficient, more profitable and more fun!

Dr. Zaigham Tahir, Chief of Development Operations
Dr. "Zaig" Tahir is a pediatrician and is Tauseef's brother. Along with his medical practice of pediatrics, he developes medical software. Zaig created the software for online management for photographs using the TZS Imaging System. He is in the process of changing the software programming, leading to an even faster, easier to use, secure and solid software.
